    Q: What is Tropical Twist?
    A: It is an indoor play center built on 1030sqm, subdivided into two halves and partitioned by large glass windows. The parents' area is served by our full menu cafe. The playground has a separated and enclosed area for toddlers. There is also a triple level play structure and a challenge area for children eight years and above. A separate party area is designated for Birthday parties.
    Q: Who looks after the children at Tropical Twist?
    A: Tropical Twist is not a childcare centre. Parents are responsible to look after their children
    Q: What is the roll of staff members working at Tropical Twist?
    A: Our staff members are assigned at 'Reception, Cafe, Parties, and Play'. They facilitate the guests, play games with the kids, and serve the birthday parties
  • Walk-ins
    Q: Do I need to book for my children to play at Tropical Twist?
    A: No, bookings are only for bigger groups. Individuals can walk-in any time unless we reach our maximum capacity.
    Q: How long is the duration of a session for play at Tropical Twist?
    A: Our play sassions are of 2hrs. duration. The session starts at the time of entry unless specified at the time of entry.
    Q: How do I secure entry during school holidays?
    A: You can buy pre-paid ticket
    Q: What is a Pre-paid ticket?
    A: Buy this ticket for a two hour time slot of your choice by paying standard entry charges in advance. The bearer is entitled to enter and stay at Tropical Twist during the booked time only. An expired ticket carries no value. A full amount can be refunded if claimed atleast 15 minutes before entry time. Tropical twist accepts no responsibility for any lost or stolen ticket.
    Q: Can my child play without wearing socks?
    A: No, it is for the safety of your own child to wear socks. Socks may be purchased from our reception desk if required.
    Q: Can I reserve a table for walk-in entry?
    A: No, Tables are reserved for the booked parties only
    Q: What if my child stays less than two hours at Tropical Twist?
    A: The entry ticket you buy is for two hours session; early departure doesn't effect the price.
    Q: Am I allowed to bring in my pet to Tropical Twist?
    A: No. Its kids place. Some of the kids may not feel comfortable.
    Q: Is my child allowed to bring in his own toy?
    A: It depends on the size and the type of the toy. Our staff reserves the right to refuse it as few toys may be unsafe to kids of other age group or to the business premises.
    Q: Can we bring our own cake with out booking a party?
    A: It comes under BYO. Please read in Parties (Food) and Cafe.

      • Q: Do I need to book a party in advance?
        A: Yes, we carefully manage the seating and serving arrangements. Bookings are essential to avoide any disappointment.
        Q: How can I make a booking?
        A: We have three channels to accept booking: over the counter, online, over the phone. All of these modes require your personal and party details. Payments are not mandatory at the time of booking.
        Q: What if I change my mind after booking a party?
        A: Easy; call us about cancellation or change of time, we happily change it to next available time slots. Call us about the change of package, the time of the party will change as both of our party packages offer different time slots.
        Q: Can I book a 'Family party package' and bring my own cake?
        A: It is just a gathering of a family with their children and is not our farmal party package. Our customers are allowed to bring cake only in 'Troppo' or 'Play n fun' party package.

      • Q: Do I need to pay deposit?
        A: Yes, the deposit must be paid within a week after booking a party (the latest five days before the party day), a failure to do so may result cancellation of booking.
        Q: How to pay the deposit?
        A: In person, over the counter, or over the phone through the credit card.
        Q: Can I take free invitaions for the party?
        A: Yes, only when the deposit has been paid
        Q: What if all the kids don't show on the party time?
        A: You would be paying for only those show up as long as you have minimum of eight (12 for after hours bookings) children for the party. You still pay for eight children even if there were less children in the party.

      • Q: What am I allowed to bring for my child's pre-booked birthday party?

        Q: Troppo package offers party cake; What if I want to bring my own?
        A: You may use both the cakes or get five dollars refund to your final bill
        Q: What if I want to bring my own food?
        A: In general we practice "No outside food policy". You may bring outside food by paying surcharge. This surcharge applied per person (both the kids & adults).         Seating for the kids may be provided in the party or the cafe area depending on the availablity. Parents are provided seating in the cafe area. We reserve you a table and whoever joins you is considered your guest.
        Q: What's better? Paying entry price and surcharge for BYO; or party package price and surcharge for BYO?
        A: BYO surcharge with entry price suits to those who along with their guests just walked-in without booking a party. There surcharge is relatively less but their entry permission depends on the available vacancies, also there is no guarantee of providing them adequate seating.
        BYO surcharge with the party package price applies to those who book a party and still want to bring their own food. It secures your entry, the day and the time of the party, and also maximum possible seatings         for parents. (Also see "Cafe" below for details)

      • Q: What happens when a child accompanies me to pick up his sibling from Tropical Twist?
        A: All kids must pay to enter Tropical Twist or the siblings should sit in the waiting area.
    • Time scheduls
      • Q: What is the sequence of the birthday parties?
        A: After reception the parents chat at the tables reserved for them in the eating area. Children go and play in the play area. Party celebrations are in the party area forty five minutes after the time of arrival. The celebrations take about twenty to twenty five minutes. Then, for the remainder of the two hour session, the children play in the play area.

      • Q: What's better for me? A publis session or an Exclusive session for a birthday party of my child?
        A: Book an Exclusive session if you don't want to share with other parties. We understand the reasonable number of parents coming with children. Normally more guest parents stay if their child is very young and most of the guest parents leave if their child is older. If you invite a larger number of adults with a fewer number of children, booking an exclusive session would be a good choice so that all of your guests can have seats.
      • Q: What happens to the deposit when I cancel / reschedule an exclusive session or want to change it to the public session?
        A: After accepting your booking for an exclusive session, we start refusing other customers looking for the same time slot. deposit remains non-refundable and non transferable.
  • Groups
    Q: Who can book a group?

    • A: Groups are booked by the instituations (childcare centres, educational institutes, community organizations etc.)
    Q: Can I make a group booking of 20 children for my child's birthday party?
    A: Group bookings are available to the institutes and the organizations only
    Q: Why are the groups charged for bringing their own lunches?
    A: All the efforts are made to make the seating availble to the parents. Children spend most of their time exploring the play structure. However, groups are provided seating to eat their lunches.

    Q: Can I bring my own food?
    A: Our cafe offers full menu options. However for your own food, there are additional charges per person including children and also for adults. BYO surcharge is as under:
    • Walk-ins: $3 per person
    • Pre booked birthday party (public session): $4 per person
    • Pre booked birthday party (exclisive session): $7.50 per person
    • Children pay Standard Entry Plus surcharge; Adults' entry is free and they pay surcharge only
    • Customers will be allocated a table (in the parents' area or the party area)
    • Customers will be provided appropriate number of chairs depending on the amount of surcharge paid
    • Parents' bringing the food would be responsible to pay for any additional number of guests joining them on the allocated table
  • Q: Why should customer pay surcharge for outside food they bring in?
    A: Tropicl Twist offers free entry to the parents. Surcharge covers the cleaning services our staff has to provide them.
    Q: What type of cooking oil you use in the kitchen?
    A: Canola oil
    Q: Do you offer healthy food options?
    A: Yes, we offer baked vegetables or you may ask for any burger processed through microwave oven only
  • Exclusive Birthday Parties
    Q: What is exclusive birthday Party?
    A: It is basically a birthday party with only your guests in the whole centre.
    Q: can I book an exclusive session during normal business hours?
    A: No. During business hours we run public session only. Our business hours for public sessions are Monday to Friday 10am until 3pm (until 5pm during school holidays) and Saturday to Sunday 10am to 5pms.     An exclusive session can be booked after our normal business hours.

  • Q: What is the difference between a Corporate package and an Exclusive birthday party?
    A: In an exclusive birthday party, a customer pays per person, even if only the minimum number of guests arrive. in a corporate package, a customer pays per hour, even if there are hundreds of guests coming.
    Q: What's better for me? A Corporate package or an Exclusive birthday party?
    A: An exclusive Birthday party entitles you to have the entire center only for you and your guests. We would not accept any other booking during the period you hired the centre.
    In a Corporate package the entire premises are booked only for you, also you are allowed to re-arrange seating plan according to your needs.
    Q: What's better for me? A public session or an Exclusive session for a birthday party of my child?
    A: Book an Exclusive session if you don't want to share with other parties. We understand the reasonable number of parents coming with children. Normally more guest parents stay if their child is very young and most of the guest parents leave if their child is older.
